Lily is a deceased archer and magical crafter whose family was murdered by a cult, driving her into a life consumed by revenge. She trains to become a Fury, pours her grief and skill into forging the Vendetta bow, and dies still pursuing the cultists responsible. Her story lives on through the weapon she left behind: when Riley later inherits the bow, Lily’s spirit appears to share her history and initiate Riley into the Fury sisterhood, passing on both her magic and her unfinished quest.

Book 2.5: Retribution

Lily is a deceased archer and magical crafter who grew up in Vaerwald’s low streets and rose to work as an enchanter, gifted with magical crafting including animated figurines. After cultists kidnap and kill her family, she becomes consumed by a need for revenge, trains under Marie to become a Fury, and pours herself into creating the Vendetta bow before dying alone while hunting the cultists responsible. Riley later finds the bow and inherits both the weapon and Lily’s unfinished revenge quest against the same cultists. After Riley is killed fighting Clarence, Lily’s ghost meets her in a supernatural death-space, reveals her tragic history, and initiates her into the Fury sisterhood, granting her blood-based magic and a resurrection buff so that Riley can finish what Lily could not.
